Overview

InfraRed is a very common remote control mechanism to change channels, control volume/ temperature, turn ON and OFF devices and take pictures. GyroPalm InfraRed utilizes the in-built IR transmitter and receiver to train IR codes as well as use those codes to replace your remote controllers. 

Controlling DSLR Cameras

GyroPalm InfraRed supports nearly all major DSLR camera brands. We mainly recommend Nikon and Canon DSLRs for best performance. The typical operating range is around 10~20ft and the maximum operating distance (line of sight) is approx 30ft. Make sure you point the IR window (in front of GyroPalm) towards the camera and nothing is blocking the IR receiver on the camera. You can now setup your DSLR on a tripod and take a picture at your leisure without being timed by the camera.

Typical TV Control

GyroPalm InfraRed supports nearly all major TV brands. The typical operating range is around 6~10ft and the maximum operating distance (line of sight) is around 15ft.
